First day of summer. The kids have been out of school for a couple weeks and have already forgotten the habits and schedules of the school year. Gabriella and Michaela finished the 3rd grade and Matt graduated 8th. His class did a great job with the graduation ceremony - a lot of talent in that class.
We also had our Sunday School graduation and end of year party. The seniors received class rings and the 8th graders received lovely prayer books. The other grades received small gifts. Each of the graduates had a chance to speak and share their memories of Sunday School over the years with everyone.
I have pictures to share from both graduations. I'm still trying to decide which ones - I have so many.
The kids are looking forward to a fun and lazy summer. We have no concrete plans other than Matt's week long Boy Scout camp at the end of July. I've got some time off planned throughout the summer when we'll spend time together and take some small excursions. I'll keep you posted.
I hope you all have wonderful plans for this summer too. It'll be over before we know it - though by the middle of August everyone is ready for school to start (at least the adults are).
Enjoy!
